Delivery of ARPA – ECDIS/WECDIS simulators to Naval Academy.
In the third and fourth quarter of 2011, we delivered to the Naval Academy the following simulators: Radar / ARPA - ECDIS / WECDIS, consisting of two instructor positions and 24 training positions.
Under the contract, the structure of a simulator has been designed to allow simultaneous work of all positions. Our company has implemented a complex job, which included delivery, installation and commissioning of simulators, along with the implementation of telecommunication infrastructure based on fiber optic technology.
The simulators allow training regarding ship navigation systems, in particular operations of radar, Electronic Map System (ECDIS / WECDIS), in accordance with the requirements of STCW.
