One of the interfaces manufactured by our company is the NMEA - 0183 splitter. It enables connecting eight devices with one output of navigating equipment (GPS, log, gyro-compass etc.) that emits NMEA - 0183 signals. DC/DC converter used in a power supply circuit provides a galvanic separation of splitter’s outputs and power source. The splitter input is also separated from the vessel ground with the help of optoisolator. Moreover, it is possible to choose the input signal polarization and visual signalling of operating status. Apart from NMEA splitters, we can also offer the UI-100A Universal Interface that changes vessel’s speed given in pulses per nautical mile into series transmission of the NMEA 0183 standard according to IEC 61162-1. This interface is mainly used to connect the log with VDR, radar, ARPA, as well as other navigating equipment.
